Took 2 days to drive up to the Tetons from north rim of the Grand Canyon and it was a veyr nice trip. I headed up rt 89 through UT and WY. When I got a ways into WY it followed the Star Valley up to Jackson. That was nice, small towns (pop. 500 or so), lots of ranches, cattle and horses. Interesting to see how much of the land is irrigated.
I’m camped at Gros Ventre campground in the Tetons, convenient to both the park and Jackson. Have been out watching the local moose in the evenings. There is a herd of bison near the park that can be round anywhere along hte road at times, along with a few pronghorn antelope. I expect to see more of both when I get into Yellowstone. During hte day the clouds have been plentiful, making for lovely shots with the blue sky and puffy clouds, on the other hand using the solar for charging anything except the trailer battery is iffy but I’m managing.
