Capitol Reef NP is a wonderful place!
The rock formations are wonderful to see and we saw all we could. We tried hiking the Hickman Bridge Trail and got maybe 1/2way to the bridge, but it was looking very ominous and the next stage was a wash area, very dangerous in a storm, so we turned back.
The next day we decided to drive down Rt. 12 to Boulder, UT, and drive the Burr Trail. Crossing Boulder Mountain we experienced snow. On the Burr Trail we had rain, snow, sleet and a tiny bit of sun. We did get to see an impressive waterfall, only because of the precipitation. The next day it was dried up.The really sunny image was taken at the end of the trail the next day in the sun.
